When she was a child Sylva was abandoned in the deep Forrest. As she lied there crying a wolf all alone whos pack had been hunted by the very same villagers that had abandoned her. The wolf took her in and fed and housed her as she grew. She soon began to relies that the wolf could speak to her telepathically and that she could understand what it said. The wolf told her it's name was Tamo. Sylva at the time had no name, since Tamo had found her in the woods he suggested the name Sylva which is Latin for wood. Sylva soon adopted the name. All went well for a long time until Sylva went of alone to hunt and gather berries. While on her task she was discovered by a guardsmen on hunting duty who chased a rabbit that led him to her. The soldier stared at her with lust filled eyes as drool dripped from his mouth. He advanced on her cooing and talking nonchalantly. The soldier lunged and grabbed her by her hair and started clawing at her clothes. "NO!" she screamed. The solar only laughed. "TAMO!" she screamed in a shrill desperate screech. The great wolf leapt from the dark Forrest around them and knocked the soldier to the ground. The soldier grunted as he was knocked to the ground. He ripped his sword from it's scarab and started stabbing and swinging wildly. Tamo ripped and bit relentlessly and mercilessly until the soldier's breath ceased to continue. Whatching the scene from the cover of a tree some feet away was a lone archer. He loosed an arrow at the girl and leapt from his roost and fled back to his village. The arrow ripped through her heart and killed her instantly. Tamo saw what happened and leapt after the archer and snapped his neck between his huge jaws. He headed back towards Sylva with a heavy heart. He stood over her limp lifeless body as tears welled up in his eyes. The wolf let his tears fall to her face. He touched his head to hers and pourd his soul into her. Sylva gasped suddenly taking in huge racking breaths. The wolf pulled back startled, then pushed his head against her completely delighted. "I have linked my soul to yours Sylva, we are one." Sylva looked at him and hugged him tightly "thank you" she said as tears welled in her eyes.
That was 6 summers ago since then Sylva has trained with the soldiers bow and knives and with Tamo so this would never happen again. She eventually crafted her own weapons and honed her skill as to never be caught vulnerable again.
